identified as simply "Track #1", "Track #2", and "Track #7"
(referring to the songs' track numbers as they appear on Disc 2 of
the US double-cd for "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" (9 45482-2)).
The corrections are as appear above.
note: Track #1 features Richard D. James talking over excerpts from the
songs, "On (d-scape mix)" and "73-Yips", both by THE APHEX TWIN.
note: Track #2, "Blue Calx", is mis-credited as being by THE APHEX TWIN,
when in actuality is a BLUE CALX song. In fact, this is the same
exact song that appears on the UK cd for the "Philosophy Of Sound And
Machine" compilation (A.R.T. 2CD) (credited as being by BLUE CALX),
on the UK double-cd for "Selected Ambient Works Volume II" (WARP
CD21) (mis-credited as being by THE APHEX TWIN), and on the US
double-cd for "Chillout Phase Two" (EX-268-2) (also mis-credited as
being by THE APHEX TWIN). All releases which feature the song, "Blue
Calx", should instead credit it (if necessary) as being by BLUE CALX.
note: Track #3 features Richard D. James talking over an excerpt from the
song, "---------- [universal indicator red - #A5]" by MARTIN
TRESSIDER, off of the UK lp for "Universal Indicator `Red'" (TR-
606), as well as a short bit from "D-Scape" by THE APHEX TWIN.
note: Track #5 features Richard D. James talking over an excerpt from the
song, "Tamphex (headphuq mix)", by THE APHEX TWIN.
note: Track #7 features Richard D. James talking over an excerpt from the
song, "D-Scape", by THE APHEX TWIN.
note: Track #8, "Words (processed)", is actually a portion of the
interview, with Richard D. James' voice having been re-modulated with
sounds and noise added. Also, at both the very beginning and end of
this track there are fractions of a second of "On (d-scape mix)", by
THE APHEX TWIN.
